Introduction to Listening Skills with Banbury Counselling Academy
This course will be held at The Well Retreat, Unit 2 Glebe Farm Park, Turweston, Brackley NN13 5JE
This will be run on 6 consecutive weeks at 3 hours per session (18 Hours in total)
It will be held on Saturdays 1.30pm – 4.30pm

The Banbury Counselling Academy in collaboration with the Well Retreat are delighted to offer this qualification which is designed for candidates who wish to develop their listening skills for use in a variety of personal and professional contexts to:
· improve communication
· improve work relationships
· enhance personal relationships
· promote better community relations.
Over six weeks you will work within a small group to practice active listening skills and raise your awareness about what may be blocking your communications with colleagues, family and friends.
This qualification does not lead directly to an employed role. However, it could enhance an existing voluntary or paid role. It could increase the general employability of those seeking to enter the job market.
This introductory qualification gives you a good foundation to enrol on the CPCAB Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills available from September 2019 at the Banbury Counselling Academy.
