Community Class: Viva La Vulva

Wednesday 6th May

7pm – 8pm

Pelvic health is something that affects so many of us at different stages of life, yet it’s still not something we talk about openly.

So we’re opening up the conversation in a relaxed, welcoming space.

In this free community evening, specialist pelvic health physiotherapist Charlotte Church will share clear, gentle insights into the pelvic floor — what it does, why it matters more than many realise, and how to care for it kindly.

We’ll touch on common experiences like bladder leaks, pelvic floor weakness, prolapse, and pelvic pain — explaining what’s normal, what simple steps can help, and when it’s wise to seek extra support.

There’ll be plenty of time for your questions too.

The aim is simple: to help you understand your body a little better and feel more confident and at ease with your pelvic health.

What we’ll cover:

• What the pelvic floor is and how it works

• How it supports bladder and bowel function

• Common issues such as bladder leaks and prolapse

• How pregnancy, birth, and menopause can affect pelvic health

• How to do pelvic floor exercises properly

• When it might be helpful to seek professional support
